Microsoft 365 Apps comes with a full version
of familiar Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and more.
It is a user-based service and allows each
student, faculty or staff to install on up to five
personal devices, including PCs, Macs,
as well as tablets and mobile
phones. (Office
Mobile applications are included
with all Windows phones).
The Office programs that come
with Microsoft 365 Apps are the
same programs that come with
Office Professional Plus.
Note that some applications come
only with Windows (i.e.
Publisher and Access):

Microsoft 365 Apps is a full
version of Office. The programs
have the same features and
functionality as other versions
of Office. For example, Word in
Microsoft 365 Apps works the
same way it does in Office
Standard.
Read about the differences here.
Note: Microsoft
365 Apps is not the
same as
Office Online.

Notes
- Looking for the latest version of the desktop Office
products? Install O365 ProPlus - it's a subscription service
that ensures you always have the most up-to-date tools.
- Microsoft 365 Apps can be installed on Windows tablets running Windows 7 or higher or Macs
with Mac OS X 10.6 or higher. Office for iPad can be installed on iPads running version 7.0 or higher. For
information about mobile devices, visit www.office.com/mobile.
- Once a student is no longer enrolled at a Community College,
or a faculty/staff member is no longer an employee, the free license to use
Microsoft 365 Apps ends,
and students and/or faculty/staff will have to purchase a software license from Microsoft or a retailer for continued use.
