Login Portal

Connecticut State Colleges and Universities (CSCU) provides single sign-on authentication for Connecticut Community College (CCC) faculty, staff and students to a variety of services (i.e. O365, WebEx, myCommNet) using the Login Portal.

May 26, 2020: We are implementing tighter security in O365 to protect user accounts and as a result you will start to see different login prompts as we transition to a new authentication method for single sign-on. With the new authentication method comes the ability to:

  • use the Microsoft Password Reset Tool (using security methods you configure) when you need to reset your NetID password
  • implement multifactor authentication in the future. When multifactor authentication is enabled (also known as MFA), your account will be better protected against malicious use.
Refer to the O365 FAQ for information on what has changed when using the new authentication method for single sign-on.
Refer to the NetID FAQ for questions related to NetIDs.
Services that use the new single sign-on authentication method (i.e. Login Portal) look a little different and has the Login Portal centered on the screen:

What do I need to know about the new authentication method?
The old single sign-on authentication method has the Login Portal on the right side:

More information about NetIDs is available on the NetID FAQ page including how to determine your NetID and how to use the new authentication method for single sign-on.
