Microsoft 365 Apps - (formerly Office365 ProPlus)

Microsoft 365 Apps comes with a full version of familiar Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and more. It is a user-based service and allows each student, faculty or staff to install on up to five personal devices, including PCs, Macs, as well as tablets and mobile phones. (Office Mobile applications are included with all Windows phones).

The Office programs that come with Microsoft 365 Apps are the same programs that come with Office Professional Plus. Note that some applications come only with Windows (i.e. Publisher and Access):

Microsoft 365 Apps is a full version of Office. The programs have the same features and functionality as other versions of Office. For example, Word in Microsoft 365 Apps works the same way it does in Office Standard. Read about the differences here.

Note: Microsoft 365 Apps is not the same as Office Online.
